Many aspiring singers dream of the lights and accolades of the stage as children and JaMiel Cox was no different. The Fort Pierce, Florida native has an undeniable vocal talent and musicality that echoes some of the brightest stars of our time. Listing Stevie Wonder, Prince, Mary J Blige and Luther Vandross as his inspirations, JaMiel's musical style is freshly easy, yet confident. While attending Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida, JaMiel won the Homecoming talent show with his performance of "Love" by Musiq Soulchild. It was then that he began to seriously consider a future as a professional singer. He was soon in Orlando featured in a weekly cafe' showcase tiltled "Clouds In My Coffee." JaMiel then received formal training in the areas of stage presence and performance from one of the orginal "Drifters" Rev. James Watkins, the father if TLCs Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins. Today, you can find JaMiel Cox in Atlanta, Georgia hard at work compiling an array of orginal songs.
